Workplace Improvement
CBHW offers a variety of workplace seminars on stress and stress management, sleep hygiene, and weight management. Seminars can be tailored in frequency, duration, and content to meet the needs of your business.
Seminars are designed to be informative and useful, as we provide education materials about the topic and skills training (such as progressive muscle relaxation, visualization and diaphragmatic breathing).
Maybe a workplace seminar could help... 75-90% of visits to a primary care physician are due to stress-related problems (National Mental Health Association, 1996) 80% of accidents in the workplace are the result of stress (Cryer, 1996) Stress impacts the immune system (e.g., the common cold increases in frequency and duration under stress; Cohen et al., 1996) 50% of deaths in the U.S. are likely related to lifestyle behaviors (DHHS, 1991) |
